Andrea Cimatti is the founder, owner, and creative director of Cimatti Consulting. He is also a painter, an illustrator, a graphic designer, a consultant, and a lecturer.

His backstory

After graduating with a BA in Fine Arts from Cornell (NY, USA), Andrea wished to dedicate himself to this field.

That’s why he started teaching art in an international school, and then, once he moved to Italy, he became a full-time painter, exhibiting and selling his work internationally. Andrea’s marketing training began with organizing his shows, spreading his name, and selling his paintings.

During his painting days, he also collaborated with some communication agencies, drawing illustrations with watercolor, gouache, ink, and digital media like Photoshop and Freehand. These experiences sparked his interest in graphic design.

At the same time, in the late 90s, the internet was slowly spreading, and companies did not know yet how to approach this new medium to boost their brand. Therefore, Andrea started learning to code.

His Digital Marketing Agency

Equipped with this new knowledge, Andrea Cimatti launched himself into developing brands and websites for local businesses and transformed his painting studio into Cimatti Consulting.

As an early starter, he realized companies did not just need someone to do their website for them but someone who could also teach them the techniques and methods to manage their platforms and online marketing strategies. Therefore, he also started to provide personal consultancy services, and several organizations started to contact him to do training classes.

Over time his web agency has grown, but Andrea still enjoys talking to his clients to understand their needs and how to communicate their ideas best. After more than 20 years, he still gets excited about bringing his clients’ ideas and projects to life and reading stats and numbers to determine the impact of his work.

Moreover, with his experience in graphic design, web development, and marketing, Andrea wants to provide a consistent and complete approach for businesses across a wide range of media.

His continuous support and cooperation allow him to establish stable and long-lasting relationships with his clients, and he’s proud to be a professional they can always trust.
